Google is working on its Foldable smartphone with the code name Google Felix. It was spotted on Geekbench with Google Tensor G2 SoC. Although, there are many rumors about foldable Pixel Phones for the past few years. But according to some recent reports Google is seriously working on a foldable smartphone that will be launched early next year. The name of the device is expected to be Google Pixel Fold.
Google Felix (Pixel Fold) scores 1047 points in single-core tests and in multi-core tests the smartphone scores 3257 points. Pixel’s Foldable phone will be powered by the same Tensor G2 SoC. Google Tensor G2 has two high-performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz, two silver cores clocked at 2.35 GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The smartphone has a Mali-G710 GPU.
According to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Pixel phone has 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 13. In some other reports, the design and full renders of Pixel Fold are also leaked. This suggests that the new Foldable pixel will have the same primary camera system at the back that is packed into Pixel 7 Pro. On the front, there is a 9.5MP camera selfies, video calling, etc.
Some reports also suggest that Google’s New Pixel Fold will be launched in May 2023 which means during Google I/O 2023. It’s expected that Pixel Fold will be available in Chalk and Obsidian color options. It features a 6.19-inch outer display and an 8-inch foldable display.
